It has no structural failures. ● A portable type that is convenient to carry, capable of measuring any size or shape of workpiece (sample). ● The hardness reading is Shore hardness. It can be quickly converted to Rockwell, Brinell, and Vickers values using a hardness conversion table. * Items with a mass of 4 kg or less, hollow (thin-walled) items, and thin plates cannot be measured. ● Differentiation based on application The SPS1 is ideal for measuring the hardness of flat and curved surfaces (convex surfaces). It is convenient for cases where measurement of special shapes, such as the tooth bottom of gears, is not required. The SPS2 has a contact part with the workpiece that is shaped with sharp angles. Therefore, it can measure the hardness of gear tooth bottoms (module 3 or higher) and special recesses. Additionally, by attaching a cap for flat measurements, it can also measure the hardness of flat surfaces and both concave and convex surfaces.
